Overview

Family AI Assistant is a private household productivity application. SMS/MMS is used only to deliver application-generated notifications related to changes in shared household app data, such as calendar events, grocery lists, reminders, tasks, secure app links, and household notes.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it for this messaging program, and how we protect it.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following information for the messaging program:

• Mobile phone numbers of opted-in users
• SMS/MMS messages sent to or received from the Family AI Assistant application
• Names or labels used to identify users in the household app
• Calendar, reminder, grocery list, household note, and task information stored in the app
• Links, images, or documents users send to the assistant through the app
• Basic usage logs, such as message timestamps and action history

How We Use Information

We use this information to:

• Provide application-generated assistant responses to user requests
• Manage grocery lists, reminders, calendar events, notes, and tasks in the app
• Send application-generated notifications related to changes in shared household app data, such as calendar events, grocery lists, reminders, tasks, secure app links, and household notes
• Generate secure app links to related details or action pages
• Maintain app message history and household context

SMS/MMS Messaging

Consent to receive SMS/MMS is voluntary and is not required to join a household, accept an invite, link a phone number, or use Family AI Assistant web features at app.daleslear.com. Primary opt-in: a subscriber texts START or YES from their own mobile phone to a program number (+1 (888) 866-4115 or +1 (775) 749-3253). The subscriber initiates the first contact. No outbound message is sent until the subscriber sends an inbound opt-in keyword. The application replies with a one-time opt-in confirmation. Optional secondary opt-in: a subscriber may visit the standalone web form at https://daleslear.com/slearfamily-app-signup (dedicated SMS enrollment only — not account creation, checkout, or household invite acceptance). The SMS consent checkbox is unchecked by default; the user may close the page without submitting. Household invite acceptance may link a phone number without SMS opt-in; SMS notifications begin only when the person separately completes keyword or web-form opt-in.

After opt-in, users may receive SMS/MMS from Family AI Assistant operated by Dale Slear. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.

Consent applies only to this Family AI Assistant program. Consent is not shared, sold, rented, or transferred to other businesses, affiliates, or marketing programs.

No Sharing of Mobile Information for Marketing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Third-Party Services

Family AI Assistant may use third-party service providers to operate the application, such as messaging providers, hosting providers, calendar providers, database providers, and AI processing providers.

These providers are used only as necessary to operate the application and are not permitted to use mobile information or SMS consent data for their own marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain app history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve reliability.

Users may request deletion of their information by contacting family-assistant@daleslear.com.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user information. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children’s Information

The service is intended for use by adults managing household affairs. Children should not directly use the service without parental or guardian permission.
